Mirjana Pejić Bach

Prof. dr. sc. Mirjana Pejić Bach rođena je u Zagrebu, gdje je završila i osnovnu i srednju školu. Diplomirala je 09/1993. godine na Ekonomskom fakultetu u Zagrebu, na smjeru Financije, bankarstvo i osiguranje. Titulu magistra ekonomije stekla je 01/1996. na Ekonomskom fakultetu u Zagrebu, PDS „Poslovno upravljanje“ obranom teme 'Primjena Bayesove metode u odlučivanju o proširenju energetskih kapaciteta Republike Hrvatske' za koji je dobila nagradu za kvalitetan diplomski rad.. na Ekonomskom fakultetu u Zagrebu godinu dana kasnije završila je još jedan magisterij, obranivši 01/1997. godine na PDS-u „Organizacija i management“ temu 'Odabrane metode odlučivanja o investiranju u obveznice'. Doktorski rad na temu 'Modeliranje upravljanja sredstvima u poslovanju metodom sistemske dinamike' uspješno je obranila  24. 01. 2003. na istom Fakultetu.

Prof. dr. sc. Mirjana Pejić Bach dodatno se usavršavala u prestižnim svjetskim institucijama poput Sloan School of Management, MIT, USA gdje je 1999. godine završila Guided Study Program in System Dynamics.  2006. godine pohađala je Predictive Modeling Course (2006), By C. Olivia Parr-Rud, Author, Data Mining Cookbook gdje se usavršavala u području rudarenj podataka. 2016. godine završila je Statistical Learning. MOOC course na Stanford University.

Od 1994. godine zaposlena je na Ekonomskom fakultetu Sveučilišta u Zagrebu kao mlađa asistentica na Katedri za statistiku. Tri godine kasnije postaje znanstvena asistentica na Katedri za informatiku, gdje radi i danas. U znanstveno-nastavno zvanje i na radno mjesto docentice u području društvenih znanosti – polje informacijske i komunikacijske znanosti, grana informacijski sustavi i informatologija izabrana je 2003. godine, 2006. na radno mjesto izvanredne profesorice, 2010. redovite profesorice te 2015. godine redovite profesorice u trajnom zvanju. Područja istraživanja kojima se prof. dr. sc. Mirjana Pejić Bach primarno bavi su strateška primjena informacijske tehnologije u poslovanju, rudarenje podataka i simulacijsko modeliranje. Ekspert je za Horizon 2020 programe u Research Executive Agency, Bruxelles.

Prof. dr. sc. Mirjana Pejić Bach aktivno sudjeluje u izvođenju nastave (predavanja, seminara i vježbi) iz više kolegija koji se izvode na integriranim, preddiplomskim, diplomskim, te poslijediplomskim studijima Ekonomskog fakulteta u Zagrebu. Na integriranom, preddiplomskom i diplomskom studiju nositeljica je i izvođač kolegija 'Informatika', ‘Poslovni informacijski sustavi’, 'Otkrivanje znanja u bazama podataka', 'Sistemsko mišljenje i modeliranje sistemskom dinamikom', 'Managerske simulacijske igre', ‘Sustavi umjetne inteligencije u poslovanju’ i drugih. Predaje na nekoliko doktorskih studija, kao što su doktorski studij ‘Ekonomija’ i Poslovna ekonomija’, Ekonomski fakultet Zagreb, doktorski studij ‘Poslovna ekonomija u digitalnom okruženju, Ekonomski fakultet Dubrovnik, doktorski studij ‘Upravljanje digitalnim inovacijama’, Fakultet organizacije i informatike, Varaždin, ‘Inovacije i održivo poslovanje u digitalnom društvu, DOBA, Maribor i doktorski studij ‘Poslovne vede’, Fakulteta za komercialne in poslovne vede, Celje. Prof. dr.sc. Mirjana Pejić Bach mentorica je pri izradi većeg broja diplomskih, magistarskih i specijalističkih poslijediplomskih radova te više doktorskih disertacija.

Prema analizi znanstvene baze Scopus, Mirjana Pejić Bach je među 2% najcitiranijih znanstvenika na svijetu u 2020-toj, 2021-oj i 2022-oj godini prema analizi znanstvene baze Scopus. Najveći broj citata je ostvarila iz područja Artificial Intelligence & Image Processing. Kao glavni cilj svog djelovanja ističe rad s mladima kroz mentoriranje doktorskih radova i razvoj znanstvene karijere mladih znanstvenika.

Prof. dr. sc. Mirjana Pejić Bach održala je više pozvanih predavanja među kojima su najistaknutija: Pozvano predavanje s temom 'Operations Research meets Artificial Intelligence: Intersection or Union', na konferenciji ‘The 17th International Symposium on Operations Research in Slovenia’, Bled, Slovenia, 2023.-e godine te pozvani rad s temom ‘FinTech: European Union Perspective' na konferenciji ‘IEEE SERVICES 2019 Conference's Future of Financial Services Symposia’, 2019.te godine Milano, Italija, kao i pozvano predavanje s temom: "Influence of Different Information Sources to Innovation Performance: Evidence from France, Netherlands and Croatia" na konferenciji 2nd European Data Access Forum,  Luxembourg, 24-25.03.2015.

Prof dr. sc. Mirjana Pejić Bach voditeljica je i suradnica brojnih projekata na kojima surađuje s hrvatskim i međunarodnim organizacijama, posebice kroz FP7 i bilateralni istraživački okvir.

Bila je voditeljica projekta Potpora istraživanja Sveučilišta u Zagrebu: Uloga informacijsko-komunikacijskih tehnologija u ostvarenju konkurentnosti organizacija (2015-2017), projekta Potpora istraživanja Sveučilišta u Zagrebu: Uloga otkrivanja znanja iz baza podataka u ostvarenju konkurentnosti organizacija (2013-2014) te glavna istraživačica znanstvenoistraživačkog poticajnog projekta za mlade znanstvenike Ministarstva znanosti i tehnologije Republike Hrvatske: Modeliranje sustava prognoziranja prodaje (1997-1999).

Osim znanstveno istraživačkih projekata, prof. dr. sc. Mirjana Pejić Bach bila je i voditeljica drugih projekata: projekt Ekonomskog fakulteta u Zagrebu: Informatički aspekti primjene upravljanja znanjem i poslovnim procesima u bankarstvu (2004-2005) te projekt Ekonomskog fakulteta u Zagrebu: Povezanost poslovnog uspjeha polaznika s ulaganjem u znanje kroz poslijediplomski studij s naglaskom na managerske i informatičke sadržaje (2005-2006).

Nadalje, sudjelovala je i na brojnim ostalim projektima poput: Ekspert group on evaluation methodologies for the interim and ex-post evaluations of Horizon 2020 (E03426). Prof. dr. sc. Mirjana Pejić Bach recenzentica je brojnih znanstvenih i stručnih radova. Ekspert je za vrednovanje Horizon instrumenata (2014-danas) u kojem je vrednovala više od 100 projekata. Recenzentica je za vrednovanje znanstvenih projekata Ministarstva znanosti Repulike Grčke (2010-2011) i znanstvenih projekata i programa Ministarstva znanosti, obrazovanja i športa Republike Hrvatske (2006); recenzirala 12 projekata. Associate je editor časopisa Journal of Theorethical and Applied Economic Research (JTAER) (2012-danas); referiran u Current Contents Collection i SSCI. Članica je Uredništva Zbornika radova Ekonomskog fakulteta u Zagrebu (2006-danas). Prof. dr. sc. primila je brojne nagrade i priznanja za svoj znanstveno-istraživački rad. Prof. dr. sc. Mirjana Pejić Bach članica je brojnih domaćih i inozemnih znanstvenih društava od čega ističe: System Dynamics Society, čija je članica od 2000, Hrvatsko društvo za operacijska istraživanja, članica od 2000. godine, Hrvatsko interdisciplinarno društvo, članica od 2010. godine te Hrvatski informatički zbor, članica od 2017. godine, članica Upravnog odbora. Profesorica aktivno sudjeluje u radu Research Executive Agency iz područja Disruptive Innovation, kao evaluator, recenzent i Podpredsjednica Expert group on evaluation methodologies for the interim and ex-post evaluations of Horizon 2020 (E03426).

Prof. dr. sc. Mirjana Pejić Bach je jedna od vodećih znanstvenika u Republici Hrvatskoj prema broju znanstvenih radova iz područja informacijskih i komunikacijskih znanosti. Pozamašnom znanstvenom doprinosu svjedoči i podatak da je prof. dr sc. Mirjana Pejić Bach  treća prema broju radova referiranih u Current Contents znanstvenoj bazi iz područja Informacijske i komunikacijske znanosti, a prema evidenciji Hrvatske znanstvene bibliografije (2017). Projekt Ministarstva znanosti, obrazovanja i sporta „Inteligentni sustavi kontrolinga, financija i računovodstva digitalnog poduzeća (067-1521781-2485)“ kojem je Mirjana Pejić Bach bila voditeljica je prvi prema broju radova referiranih u Current Contents znanstvenoj bazi iz područja Informacijske i komunikacijske znanosti, a prema evidenciji Hrvatske znanstvene bibliografije (2017).

Među brojnim i bogatim opusom objavljenih članaka, prof. dr. sc.
